GMC's 2025 Yukon: Comfort, Safety, and Power for the Ultimate Family Adventure

GMC has revealed the 2025 Yukon, showcasing significant technological advancements and introducing new trim levels, including the first-ever AT4 Ultimate. The flagship SUV boasts a redesigned interior, enhanced exterior styling, and a suite of cutting-edge features aimed at elevating the driving experience.

At the heart of the 2025 Yukon's upgrades is a new 16.8-inch diagonal premium infotainment system, offering a vertical interface that allows users to customize the integration of maps, audio inputs, and vehicle diagnostics. The interior redesign also includes an available 8-inch rear climate control touchscreen, enhancing passenger comfort.

The Yukon continues to offer powerful engine options, including the available 6.2L V8 engine delivering 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. For the first time, the 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine, producing 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque, is available across all trim levels, including the AT4 and AT4 Ultimate.

GMC has introduced two new top-tier trims: the Denali Ultimate and AT4 Ultimate. The Denali Ultimate features exclusive 24-inch machined wheels, 16-way powered heating and ventilated massaging front seats, and a Bose Performance Series sound system with up to 22 speakers. The AT4 Ultimate combines off-road capability with luxury, offering a front skid plate, Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, and an Obsidian Rush interior with full-grain leather seating.

Safety and driver assistance technologies have been significantly enhanced. The 2025 Yukon introduces Night Vision to the GMC portfolio, aiding drivers in low-light conditions. Standard safety features now include Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, and Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking.

For those who tow, the Yukon offers advanced trailering technologies, including Blind Zone Steering Assist, Transparent Trailer View, and Jackknife Alert. The SUV maintains its impressive towing capability of up to 8,400 lbs.

Production of the 2025 GMC Yukon will take place at Arlington Assembly in Texas, with availability expected by the end of 2024. As GMC's reimagined SUV lineup nears completion, the updated Yukon promises to set new standards in the full-size SUV segment.
